What we collect

Enquiries

If you use the contact form, we keep what you submit: your name, email address, company if you add one, phone or WhatsApp number if you add one, the kind of work you select, a budget range if you select one, and your message.

Messages you send us

If you email hello@jadesdev.com, call, or message us on WhatsApp, we keep that conversation and the contact details you use, so we can reply and follow it.

Technical logs

Our hosting provider may record basic technical information when a page loads, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested. That is used to keep the site online and to trace faults. It is not used to build a profile of you. We do not run advertising cookies, and we do not run analytics that follow you from site to site.

The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. Opening a page sends a request to Google, and that request can include your IP address.

What this site does not collect

The site does not ask you to create an account, and it does not take card or bank details. We do not sell personal information.

How we use it

We use what you send to reply, understand the brief, prepare a proposal, carry out the work if you hire us, and keep the invoices and project records a company needs. We do not sell personal information. Sending an enquiry does not put you on a marketing list.

Who else sees it

Messages pass through the email and hosting services we use to receive them. Those providers handle the message so it can reach us. We do not pass your details to other companies, advertisers, or anyone who buys contact lists.

If a project needs a separate service, such as hosting, a domain, or payments, we agree that with you before it is set up. Where the provider allows it, and the agreement says the work is yours, that account is opened in your name.

How long we keep it

An enquiry that does not become a project stays while the conversation is active, and for a short time after, in case you return to it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

If we work together, we keep the agreement, project files and invoices for as long as we need them to deliver the work, support it afterwards, and meet tax and accounting duties in Nigeria.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete an enquiry we no longer need. Email hello@jadesdev.com. If a record has to stay because of an active project, an invoice, or a legal duty, we will say what can be deleted and what has to remain.

Clients outside Nigeria

We work with clients in other countries. Messages and files may be stored where our email and hosting providers operate, which can be outside your country. We send them there only so we can reply and do the work. If the law where you live gives you privacy rights, you can use the email above to raise them with us.

Changes

When this policy changes, the new version replaces this page and the date at the top is updated. The version published here is the one that applies.
